Welcome to Elysian Garden Floral Co., a small flower farm in Longmont, Colorado, rooted in beauty, patience, and the quiet magic of growing things.

Founded by Stephanie, this garden began as a personal garden — a place to slow down, heal, connect with nature, and cultivate flowers that bring joy to everyday life. After working long days as an ICU and hospice nurse, Stephanie would come home and find her own healing in the beauty of the garden. "Elysian" means blissful, peaceful, delightful. Sharing this experience of peace and healing in the garden has become an important part of our mission.

What started with a healing garden with a handful of varieties quickly grew into a deep love for dahlias, plant propagation, flower hybridizing, seed saving, and sharing unique plants with other gardeners and flower lovers.

Thoughtfully saved and selected varieties chosen for beauty, pollinator support, and garden performance. We are also working on hybridizing our own zinnias!

Every plant offered through Elysian Garden Floral Co is grown with care in Colorado's unique climate. Stephanie personally selects varieties for their color, form, resilience, and garden presence.

Her gardens focus on:

• pollinator-friendly flowers
• seed saving and plant stewardship
• sustainable growing practices

All of the seeds and tubers available through the shop are grown, divided, harvested, and packed by hand. We are diligent with careful sanitization practices and hold a high standard for keeping our dahlia stock as healthy as possible.

From delicate pastels to bold sunset colors, each bloom feels like its own little work of art. They are generous flowers that reward patience with months of blooms and an incredible range of forms.

Elysian Garden Floral Co. grows over 500 varieties of dahlias, with new varieties added each season as the collection expands.

We are an authorized distributor for River Merle Farm, one of our favorite dahlia hybridizers, and we are excited to be offering many of their new 2026 releases some time after July 15th!

We are a registered and inspected nursery in the state of Colorado. We have a certified Japanese Beetle free indoor "greenhouse" space, meeting requirements to safely ship to western states.
